As a year-end hike and as part of the Christmas market program on the 3rd weekend of Advent, the Eifelverein Gemünd is organizing a family hike around Gemünd, as it did in 2024. A hearty pea soup with sausage is offered at lunchtime along the route. There will be drinks and surprise stations at additional points during the hike, including mulled wine and children's punch. The pea soup and all drinks are distributed free of charge to all participants.
