The circular route begins on the main road before Höfen and leads through the forest to Riffelsbruch, past old oak trees and over the Antoniusbrücke bridge. There are several Westwall bunkers along the route, some of which are still well preserved.

On the weekend of July 12 and 13, there will be a music and dance festival in front of the Kunstforum in Gemünd with food and drink on offer. After the hike, an end to the walk is planned in the afternoon in Gemünd town center as part of this festival.
