Rangertour Wilder Kermeter im Nationalpark Eifel
Mar 23, 2025 - Jan 11, 2026
Schleiden-Wolfgarten
The tour takes you through beech forests with majestic giant trees and historic charcoal-burning sites. You will gain a first impression of the emerging wilderness in the Eifel National Park. From the Hirschley viewpoint, you have a fantastic view over the Rursee and the forests stretching right down to the shore. The approximately three-hour hike (approx. 5 kilometers) leads over flat and firm paths through the barrier-free nature experience area Wilder Kermeter. It is therefore suitable for people with and without disabilities and for baby carriages.
Hearing impaired guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they register in advance. Otherwise, it is not necessary to register for the free tours. We ask that larger groups of 10 or more people register in advance by calling 02444/9510-0.
Detailed information on accessibility is available at www.nationalpark-eifel.de/barrierefrei or from the
national park administration.
The ranger tour takes place every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.
