The Holzwarche is a tributary of the Warche. Below the Wirtzfelder Mühlenberg, the Warche and the Holzwarche flow together in the Bütgenbach dam. The hike leads from Roderath in East Belgium through the nature reserve of the Holzwarche valley. The fields of daffodils, hopefully in bloom at the end of April, are an additional attraction.
